Flowing trail today - up and down and spectacular views.

Overlook on the Mission Creek Wash & the San Jacinto mountains .

Took a very long lunch break to rest and kill some time before meeting up with Steven & Dan in Big Bear.

A parade of hikers passed by while we hung out. Many new faces - most hikers we’ve seen in such a short time - we must be hitting a bubble near Big Bear.

Looking ahead at the weather forecast it is going to rain & snow - we opted for an Airbnb instead of freezing our butts off camping the next two nights with Steven & Dan. Everyone will be happier!

**** Hit mile # 250 *****

Hiked off trail to Hwy 38 - to get a hitch into town. Waited about 15 minutes and got a ride with a man and his two kids. We were squished!! The car was a hatchback - Paul rode on the trunk, Devon up front and I was in the backseat with the kids (they were adorable)!

Got to our Airbnb and waited for Steven and Dan to show up. Upon arrival we unpacked a few things from the truck and then made for our priority.

Paul picked out a place called Wyatt’s Grill & Saloon. An eclectic community center/VFW vibes with a bar, food, dancefloor and stage.

We ordered food (pizza for Steven & chicken Parmesan for me) and drinks and watched the ballroom dancing lessons.

Eventually a band showed up and the dancing changed to line dancing - it was very entertaining.

We went to the grocery store next to pick up food and supplies for breakfast. Went back to the Airbnb and hung out for a while before bed.
